I initially came to Pilates as a student of the method in the 1990’s when I lived and worked in London. In 2014 I moved back to Ireland and started to train to become a Pilates practitioner.
I attained an Advanced Diploma in Pilates from the National Training Centre Dublin, and have trained in reformer Pilates at the National Pilates Centre Dublin, and hold a Diploma in Exercise Referral from the Platinum Training Institue Belfast.
I am a member of The Register of Exercise Professionals Ireland, and a member of Ireland Active.
Pilates has been good to both my mind and body over the years. It has proved itself to me as an all over body exercise method that helps strengthen, lengthen and tone the body and provide valuable assistance during rehabilitation.
I regularly update my knowledge and have recently completed the Living Well with Arthritis course, the Cara Inclusive Fitness Training, Self Myofacial Release, and Covid 19 safety procedures in an exercise setting.
